Michele W. Daly - Executive Director
Michele became Executive Director of the Women's Resource Center in October, 2007.  She came to us from West Chester University's Graduate Social Work Program where she was the Director of Field Practicum.  Prior to that, for seventeen years, she was Director of Development and Communications at Family and Community Service of Delaware County.  While there, she became nationally known for a program she started for grandparents raising grandchildren: Second Time Around Parents.  Michele became an advocate for grandparent rights, and helped to write a bill that was passed into law by the Pennsylvania Legislature that gave grandparents "standing" in court for child custody cases.  Before her time at Family and Community Service, Michele was on the staff of two U.S. Congressmen as an advisor for human service issues.  In 1980 she helped set-up the Bachelor of Social Work Program at Cabrini College where she was a part-time instructor for fifteen years.  Michele earned a BA in Social Science from Cabrini College and received her Masters in Social Administration from Temple University.  No stranger to volunteerism (the backbone of WRC), she currently serves on several community boards.

Sherrie Myers, MS, BSW, Counseling and Legal Services Coordinator
Sherrie earned her Masters degree in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University and a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Pennsylvania State University.  She completed her certification in Brief Treatment Therapy from the Bryn Mawr School of Social Work, with a concentration in Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapy.  Sherrie has been a counselor for the Women's Resource Center for the past 17 years.  In addition to her counseling duties, Sherrie coordinates the professional affliate referral program, the Legal Consultation Program, and supervises 2 Masters level counseling students.  Sherrie is a member of the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, the American Counseling Association, and the American Mental Helath Association.

Susan Deutch, M.Ed., Coordinator of Volunteers and Programs
Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts from Temple University and her Masters of Education from Kutztown University.  She taught for over twenty years and has extensive volunteer experience with Career Wardrobe, food banks, Habitat for Humanity, and the Allentown Art Museum.  Susan was initially a phone volunteer before becoming the Volunteer Coordinator.  In this capacity she oversees the Information and Referral service, updates the data bank and arranges for all training for phone and program volunteers.  Susan began her position in January of 2006.

Jacqueline Showell, Adminstrative/Program Manager
Jacqueline joined the WRC as the Administrative/Program Manager in April, 2008.  She completed her Bookkeeping Course at City of Delaware County Training School and also studied Accounting at Widener University for one year.  Before joining WRC she was employed as a Bookkepper for Fidelity Bank and Accounting Specialist for Chester Housing Authority.  For 8 years she was employed at Family & Community Service of Delaware County as a Development Assistant.  Currently she is a role model in her community serving as a Youth Minister both in and out of the Church.

Suzanne Levitch, Career Services Coordinator
Suzanne came to the WRC through the AmericCorps VISTA program in August, 2009.  Since graduating from Emerson College in 2007 with a degree in film production, she has worked for non-profits such as WGBH Public Television in Boston and Philadelphia Independent Film Festival.  Suzanne's duties include marketing and community outreach for WRC.
