Michele W. Daly - Executive Director Michele became Executive Director of the Women's Resource Center in October, 2007. She came to us from West Chester University's Graduate Social Work Program where she was the Director of Field Practicum. Prior to that, for seventeen years, she was Director of Development and Communications at Family and Community Service of Delaware County. While there, she became nationally known for a program she started for grandparents raising grandchildren: Second Time Around Parents. Michele became an advocate for grandparent rights, and helped to write a bill that was passed into law by the Pennsylvania Legislature that gave grandparents "standing" in court for child custody cases. Before her time at Family and Community Service, Michele was on the staff of two U.S. Congressmen as an advisor for human service issues. In 1980 she helped set-up the Bachelor of Social Work Program at Cabrini College where she was a part-time instructor for fifteen years. Michele earned a BA in Social Science from Cabrini College and received her Masters in Social Administration from Temple University. No stranger to volunteerism (the backbone of WRC), she currently serves on several community boards.

In addition to her counseling duties, Sherrie coordinates the professional affliate referral program, the Legal Consultation Program, and supervises 2 Masters level counseling students.
