The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) of the Delaware Valley, located in Wayne, PA, announced that Karen Dougherty Buchholz will present the keynote at the organization’s 12th Annual Leadership Luncheon on April 20.  As Senior Vice President of Administration for Comcast Corporation, Karen has a wide array of corporate development responsibilities, including corporate real estate, facilities, diversity and inclusion, political affairs, corporate services, business continuity, and sustainability.  She is also in charge of the development of the new Comcast Technology Center, a $1.5 billion, 60-story tower opening later this year. She will share inspirational leadership insights gleaned through her experience at Comcast and beyond.

EVENT DETAILS: On Friday, April 20 in the Crystal Tea Room, the annual luncheon, which is attended by nearly 400 community and business leaders from throughout the Philadelphia region, raises funds to support WRC’s work in assisting nearly 2,500 women and girls annually to successfully navigate difficult life transitions. Over the past seven years, the WRC Leadership Luncheon has raised more than $630,000 for programs and services that directly impact women and girls in need.

“It is my honor and pleasure to participate in the Women’s Resource Center’s annual luncheon and to support such a fantastic organization that has made a huge impact in our community and the lives of countless women by providing vital services to help them get back on their feet and on a path to success,” said Buchholz.
