Wayne, P.A. —The Women’s Resource Center of the Delaware Valley is hosting its 13thAnnual Leadership Luncheon at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia on Wednesday, May 8, from 11:30 to 2:00 pm.
The event is the nonprofit’s biggest fundraiser of the year, raising a third of its annual revenue. Over the past 8 years the luncheon has raised more than $778,000 for programs and services that directly impact women and girls in need. This year’s speaker is Grace Killelea, CEO and Founder of The GKC Group, a leadership development firm with programs designed for high potential men and women. She is also a published author and well-known speaker in the Philadelphia area.
The event will feature a silent auction and raffle, butlered hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, and a luncheon as well as a speech from Ms. Killelea and an award given to an honoree that has championed women’s issues successfully and made a difference.
“Grace is a shining example of what a real champion for women’s leadership looks like, having paved the way for women’s voices to be heard in every organization she has worked with. We are honored to have her present at this year’s Leadership Luncheon,” Cheryl Brubaker, Executive Director said.
The Crystal Tea Room is located in Philadelphia’s beautiful and historic Wanamaker Building, originally opened in 1877. The event will be catered by Finley Catering.
