WRC was awarded a generous $7,000 grant in October from Project W, a local women’s giving circle that is a program of The Community’s Foundation, or TCF. Formed in 2019, Project W seeks to fund organizations helping women that have an impact in Delaware County, with a special interest in Health, Education and Family. WRC was awarded in the Health category.
The grant award will go towards WRC’s Resource Coordination Program, led by Kai Qualls. WRC’s Resource Coordination is heavily used by the community. Most of WRC’s clients are low-income, and many have no health insurance. The Resource Coordination Program mainly offers one on one counseling and case management, bringing women in crisis to a place of confidence and well-being.
