Girls Lead Program Coordinator   

Position Summary:

This part-time (10-15 hours/week, September-May) position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the growing school-based Girls Lead program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hire and supervise Girls Lead facilitators and assistants.
  • Maintain necessary personnel records including current child abuse and state criminal background checks.
  • Order and disseminate program materials including facilitator guides, t-shirts, participant folders, blank invoices, expense reports and program evaluations.
  • Provide oversight and consultation to program facilitators.
  • Identify potential new schools and funding sources to expand the program.
  • Coordinate with school staff to begin program each year, including guidance on participant selection.
  • Receive and review weekly program summaries and photos.
  • Receive and reconcile invoices and expense reports.
  • Contribute to grant requests and reports.
  • Coordinate the annual Girls Lead Conference.
  • Update and revise program curriculum as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Experience working with girls and in school settings.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience in program coordination and event planning preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work or related fields or demonstrated success in youth education program coordination.

Administrative & Program Assistant         

Position Summary:

This part-time (25 hours/week) position is responsible to provide a variety of administrative, clerical, and database support tasks to support WRC’s operations, program services and fundraising initiatives.  The hours of the position will be generally 9:30 am – 2:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reception/Office Support:

  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails and provide general support to visitors
  • Organize and schedule meetings
  • Write and distribute email, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Maintain and enhance organizational systems and office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies, research new suppliers and coordinate printing projects
  • Provide logistical support for program registration process

Fundraising Support:

  • Maintain contact and donor lists; prepare mailing lists and coordinate mailings
  • Maintain computerized donor database including gift entry and generating fundraising reports
  • Provide logistical support for the organization’s special events, including maintaining trackers, coordinating mailings, preparing solicitation materials,


  • Preparing bank deposits and checks
  • Enter deposits & bills into Quickbooks
  • Process credit card transactions
  • Maintain documentation binder for audit
  • Assist in implementation of financial procedures according to approved organizational policies.

Programs Support:

  • Maintain program records.
  • Compile and record program evaluation data.
  • Provide logistical support for program events as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment such as printers and copiers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel including mail merge tasks
  • Ability to work with databases and Quickbooks accounting system.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree or equivalent
