The Women’s Resource Center offers a variety of free or low-cost family law-related programs to help women in need of guidance for issues pertaining to divorce, child support, custody and related topics.
Our services include Legal Consultations, Family Law Guide, and The Attorney Affiliate Program.
Legal Consultations
Family law attorney consultations are a private 30-minute consultation with a Family Law Attorney to discuss issues involving divorce, custody, child support or other family law matters. We offer consultations for residents of the following five PA counties: Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia.
Until further notice, all legal consultations will be conducted by phone. A non-refundable $10 fee applies. Registrations are taken by phone at 701-314-HELP (4357).
Family Law Guide
Relationship difficulties and their legal ramifications are the primary reasons that women seek information and support from the WRC. To address this need, the WRC has compiled an easy-to-read guide (A Guide to Family Law in Pennsylvania) that covers common concerns and questions related to family law. Appendices include current resources used throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Ordering the Family Law Guide
A hard copy of the Legal Guide costs $20, and a digital copy is $10.
You can purchase one by calling the WRC at 701-314-HELP (4357) or purchase online here.
Discounted Rates with Affiliate Attorneys
Confidential, professional assistance is available for women in need of help with family law issues through Women’s Resource Center Attorney Affiliate Program. WRC attorneys provide an initial, one hour, consultation by appointment only, for a $40 fee.
Please call or email the Helpline for assistance finding an attorney referral.
